KANTISHNA PARK ENTRANCE RETURN TRIP BY AIR: (For guests doing the Kantishna Day Trip Tour)
Return to the park entrance via scenic flight. The flight will take you to the North Face of Denali then traverse the expansive Muldrow Glacier following the spine of the magnificent Alaska Range to the park entrance. Depart from Denali Backcountry Lodge: 3pm, $240 per person (if four people can be found to participate in this flight).
KANTISHNA ROUND TRIP FLIGHTSEEING: (For guests staying two nights at the Kantishna Backcountry Lodge)
Spend 60 minutes viewing enormous glaciers, towering granite walls and snow-covered peaks that enshrine North America's greatest mountain. Depart from Denali Backcountry Lodge: 2:30pm, $225 per person (if three people can be found to participate in this flight).
Only guests traveling on our 14 Day Denali Explorer will have one morning free to take one of the following optional tours.
ALASKAN GOLFING EXPERIENCE:
Experience a unique golfing excursion high in the mountains of Alaska. Begin your adventure with a quick ten mile tour through the Nenana River Canyon. Then you will arrive at Black Diamond Golf Course located next to a serene mountain lake where wildlife abounds at this rugged links-like nine hole golf course. Package includes all golfing essentials, green fees, clubs, a pull or power cart, tees, scorecard and playing balls. Tour Time: 7:00am, $79 per person.
CANYON RUN RAFTING:
Experience a white water adventure. Journey through 11 miles of the Denali National Park frontier with class III and IV rapids. No experience is required. Ages 10 and up are welcome. Choose and Oar Raft and hold on or a Paddle Raft (minimum age 14) for extra excitement. Every guests is provided with state-of-the-art dry suit apparel. Tour Time: 8:00am or 10:00am, $87 per person.
INFLATABLE KAYAK TOUR:
This trip requires 100% enthusiasm and participation. Guests will paddle their own inflatable kayak while a guide provides thorough instruction and leadership. This tour is ideal for beginning kayakers but requires a moderate level of physical condition and a strong sense of adventure is recommended. Tour Time: 8:00am, $89 per person
DENALI WILDERNESS ATV TOUR:
Travel 9-10 miles along old coal mine and ATV trails plus frolic in a creak bed. Visit two breathtaking overlooks. Wildlife is often sighted. Both single ATVs and side by side ATVs available. Tour Time: 9:00am, $95 for the Driver; $65 for each passenger
DENALI EXCURSION BY HELICOPTER:
Enjoy an aerial view of Denali National Park. This 50-minute tour takes you along the spine of the Alaska Range, though unexplored towering peaks and massive glaciers with Mt. McKinley looming on the horizon. Tour Time: 8:00am or 9:00am, $339 per person
SPECIAL NOTE: Due to weight limitations and to ensure passenger safety and comfort, passengers weighing 250lbs and over will incur an additional charge of $60 per person for this tour.
GLACIER LANDING EXPEDITION:
Explore the beautiful Yanert Valley, located at the base of Mt. Deborah. Just east of Denali National Park, view cascading icefalls and the Polychrome Mountain Range. Highlight your tour with a 20-minute landing on the Yanert Glacier. Glacier boots provided. Tour Time: 10:00am, $439 per person
