ICY STRAIT POINT, ALASKA

Located down the road from Alaska's largest Tlingit village is Icy Strait Point -- the Real Alaskan experience!

Visit ICY STRAIT POINT on:  ALL TOUR ITINERARIES!

Located next to the native village of Hoonah, Alaska, the community began as a result of natives settling here after leaving Glacier Bay. From the beginning, Hoonah has captured tourist imaginations. The history and continued cultural habits exhibit the best of Alaska's native inhabitants.

In Icy Strait Point you will find lots to do for people of all ages. The worlds longest zip line is a popular feature, taking guests 5,300 feet across rain forests. Fishing is easily done with halibut and salmon charters available. Flightseeing into glacier bay and other areas will make for a breathtaking excursion. There are also a variety of nature trails, guided hikes and ATV adventures available to guests arriving by cruise ship.

We recommend any of the Hoonah Village tribal tours and especially taking in one of the Hoonah tribal dances!
