- What To Expect
- Alaskan Hotels
- Yukon Territory Hotels
- Canadian Rockies Hotels
Alaska is known as the "Last Frontier" and the hotels in Alaska will reflect this in decor and accommodation style. Upon entering an Alaskan, Yukon or Canadian Rockies hotel you will be greeted with bear skin rugs, roaring fireplaces and rustic appeal.

John Hall's Alaska hand picks the accommodations on our tours based upon the overall experience of our guests. We focus on Alaskan-style luxury and are proud to offer an array of award winning, nationally recognized hotels and lodges.
Due to the nature of our tours, several itineraries may visit destinations where there are only a few hotels in town to choose from, or one hotel for that matter. We guarantee to provide you with the best accommodations available in each destination with a focus on location and comfort. We will not overnight in an area with insufficient accommodatuions to meet our guests needs.
Will I Have Access To Laundry Facilities?
Washers and dryers for your personal use are available on land. In the larger towns such as Anchorage and Fairbanks, Whitehorse, Dawson City, Banff and Jasper you will have access to laundry facilities. Most are coin operated and located on the hotel property. In Denali there will be laundry facilities but you may have limited access to them. If you bring layers you should be able to "recycle" your clothes and have a new look each day and this may help extend your wardrobe. Send-out service is available on the cruise portion of your tour for your laundry needs.
