Klondike Gold Rush Tour Aug 7 - 26, 2011:
From the accommodations at the Lodge in Minnesota to the accommodations, service, food and special tours that no other tour company does, during the entire 20 day trip, what a fabulous and fantastic first rate company John Hall's Alaska is. Thank you to John Gailey (land portion) and John Jr (cruise portion) for seeing to our every need and then some. The only killers were the 5:30 a.m. bag pulls and 6 a.m. breakfasts! If you are ever fortunate to have John Gailey as your land tour manager, you will know more about Alaska than you can possibly absorb. What an asset he is to John Hall Tours and Alaska. Just remember 4 things if you travel with John G: 1: do not forget your cameras in the gift shops/ or your hotel rooms (Dave/Ray); 2: when he tells you to have your passports in hand and ready-do not pack in your suitcase (Ed); 3; Learn the "Beaver Creek National Anthem" and 4: don't forget the "POTHOLES"! Woo Hoo.

We took one of the two week Alaska tours in September 2007. As a result of our experience, whenever someone says that they want to go to Alaska, we immediately explain our great experience with John Hall's Alaska. We always close by saying, " John Hall's promises you the moon and then they over deliver."
We had planned for years to tow our RV to Alaska, but had to face the reality that that was not going to be. Alaska was our dream. Then friends took one of your tours and spoke very highly of it, so we signed up for the next year. What would have taken us two months to see and do on our own was easily done in two weeks because of your well researched tours and the vast knowledge of your friendly tour guides. We hope that we will one day be able to enjoy another John Hall's tour of Alaska. Thanks for a GREAT experience.

I am writing to you to thank you for a wonderful 14 day tour to Alaska on September 3rd, 2011,
Your tour guide (Caryn) was exceptional and also very knowledgeable of Alaska. She kept us all
very interested on our tours. Cat was also very informativeand answered any questions that we had.
I have to give everybody at John Hall's Alaska 100% credit for a excellent tour and every thing was so well organized. I have spoken to so many friends since we arrived home and give you a A-plus for excellence.
We also had a lot of folks from other tours commenting on our jackets, and wanted to know where we got them, we told them to book through John Hall's Alaska!

Wow, what an absolutely amazing trip we had!!!! Saw SO much and did So much...So much I never thought I'd do....like ride in a little Cesna plane and go up and around and through the peaks of My. McKinley...like ride in a float plane up to the Misty Fjords near Ketchikan, landing in a lake in the middle of mountains and getting out on floats to take pictures! Me! I did that! :) Alaska is definitely a trip of a lifetime! I can't being to describe our last 2 weeks...

This was our first time cruising and we did enjoy all the pampering. The ship was just beautiful, food was scrumptious and our stateroom was comfortable. All the staff were pleasant and courteous. We also liked all the placed we stopped. each one had its own special characteristics. We did enjoy the quaintness of the cities and towns. Alaska is a sanctuary, a place of pristine beauty and we are thankful to the good Lord for the chance to visit.

14 Day Alaska Explorer:
We just got back and had to tell somebody at John Hall's Alaska how happy my wife and I were with the tour. Our land guide, Caryn was fabulous. Her knowledge, organization and people skills made our group tour an exciting, happy adventure! I cannot imagine touring Alaska any other way... We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary while onboard the Radiance of the Seas. The service, food and entertainment were of the highest quality. Thanks again to your organization for exceeding our expectations and providing a fabulous experience.
Pat & Mary Ann Koerner- Plainfield, Illinios
We had a great trip! You certainly do a fantastic job organizing everything which goes like clockwork! The days were long the first week, but we managed to see so many things which were wonderful! The week of the cruise was more relaxing. We enjoyed all the land stops and ports of call.
Ed & Myrtis DuFresne- Green Valley, Arizona
We had a great time on our trip. I must congratulate you on your drive and guide Caryn. She was a great driver and tour guide... I am wearing your jacket when I go walking. We will recommend your company to anyone!
Klaus Korgitta- CR Balgownie, Australia
We have been on two of your tours . . . one in 2006 and the other in 2008. We can't imagine ever making the trip to Alaska with anyone else. Colleen was our first driver and John was our next trip host. Both were so knowledgeable and fun and we really appreciate all 'you' and 'they' did for us. Thanks again, and if we ever get to make the trip again, you'll be hearing from these Texans! Keep up the good work.
Janet & Gene Hargrove- Azle, Texas
The trip was everything I hoped it would be and more. Our family really enjoyed the sights and especially John Gaily our luxury bus tour guide!
Ginny Coggins- Rochester, Minnesota
My wife and I got back from our 14 day trip and I'll tell you that was one of the best and most outstanding trips we have been on. John Gailey is an excellent tour guide and its clear he knows Alaska and is very proud of his state. My wife and I are calling this our trip of firsts. First time in a small bush plane, first time to ever stand on a glacier, first time in a helicopter, first time on a ziprider. And what can I say about the scenery but WOW! Between the wildlife, snow capped mountains and glaciers, this was just an outstanding trip.
Ron & Jackie Sirany from Minnetonka, Minnesota
Myron and I want to thank you for the great time we had on our land tour. We were all fortunate to have Caryn as a tour guide. We could tekk that she really loves her state of Alaska. We learned so much about the state from her. We have been bragging up the land tour to friends and family as the way to see the true Alaska. We enjoyed the cruise but the land tour, by far, was the best of the two. Thank you again.
Myron & Kate Tande from Fargo, North Dakota
The tour was everything you said it would be and everything we hoped it would be. We mentioned several times to people while we were touring and since we have been home that we saw a lot more on the tour than we ever would have on our own. Each day was packed from bags out until bed time with interesting and entertaining activities. The meals were great and it was fun to see the nest place we would eat. All of the guides and representatives of John Hall's Alaska, Kantishna and Stan Stephens were so knowledgable and willing to tell you all about their state. I can't say I retained much of what I was told but it sure made for interesting travel! We also can't thank you enough for setting up the flights with Rust's Flying Service and fishing with Crackerjack. All flights were educational and the scenery was unimaginable. The fishing with Crackerjack was a once in a lifetime experience. Sue and I both got our limit on Halibut and we caught plenty of salmon. Sue caught a halibut that weights 50 pounds and my large one weighed 86.6 pounds. Thanks again!
Charles & Susan Smith - Glenwood, Iowa
WOW, the cruise was fantastic. John and Ashley were great hosts. Everyting was so organized. I can't imagine doing an Alaskan tour with ay other operators. You guys have to be the best. The "Blue Jackets" group are at the head of the line!
Roger and Paula Neeman - Lincoln, Nebraska
I am writing this letter to praise you all at John Hall's Alaska for the outstanding job you performed in the process of making our visit to Alaska so special...You staff was very accommodating every time I called or emailed with a question, the response was prompt and courteous....Our flight to Anchorage was a nightmare with delays and cancellations but during this, we were greeted with a smile from your end. We were greeted at the airport in Anchorage with a smile and a very energetic individual and to our surprise, we were greeted at our hotel at 1:30pm with a hot meal! Our guide John Gailey was very knowledgable about his home state of Alaska and was also very entertaining with his many jokes and stories and he was courteous at all times.... We always arrived at our destinations on time and safely. We were met on the way to Seward by Ashley, our on board host for the cruise portion. Ashley always has a smile and was available to us for the entire week...Overall our trip was outstanding...and I will continue to refer anyone interested in going to Alaska to John Hall's Alaska.
