Arrival Day: AK101 - August 30
DAY 1: VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA
Today it’s off to the Pacific Northwest and the great city of Vancouver. Upon arrival you will be met by World Wide Shore Service representatives who will assist you in your transfer to the marvelous Millennium cruise ship. After embarkation, take a moment to exhale as you prepare for a journey that will lead through 1800 nautical and 4400 overland miles during the next 23 days. SAIL AT 4:00PM
DAY 2- INSIDE PASSAGE CRUISING
Tidal waters permitting, you will hug the coastlines of Alaska and stunning British Columbia todal. Keep an eye open for humpbacks, orcas and dolphins during your day at sea.

DAY 3- KETCHIKAN, ALASKA
Known as the “Salmon Capital” of Alaska, Ketchikan is a brilliant seaside community. Today’s included walking tour features stops at the Totems of Whale Park, historic Creek Street, and the Salmon Ladder. Consider optional flightseeing to beautiful Misty Fjords or visit the totem displays at Totem Bight Park.

DAY 4- ICY STRAIT POINT
Just 22 miles southeast of Glacier Bay National Park, Icy Strait Point is the only wilderness port in Alaska. This has been the home land of the Hoonah Tlingit Natives for thousands of years. Its beauty, grandeur, history and people offer you a glimpse into the real Alaska. IN PORT: 8AM-6PM

DAY 5- JUNEAU
Dock in Alaska’s capital city of Juneau and take advantage of our included walking tour highlighting the history of the Juneau Douglas Mines, local and state museums, and a visit to the state capital. You may wish to tour the Mendenhall Glacier or journey to the top of Mt. Roberts on the aerial tram.

DAY 6- SKAGWAY
Welcome to the “Gateway City to the Klondike Gold Rush” in Skagway! This historic community still has the feel of an 1898 boomtown. You have the option to take the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad on an incredible climb 2500 feet to the top of renowned “Dead Horse Trail” or spend time touring the town on foot.

DAY 7- HUBBARD GLACIER
Today’s voyage puts you in front of Hubbard Glacier, the largest and second most active tidewater glacier in Alaska. With a face that extends over 6.5 miles in length, stand in awe as glacier ice comes crashing down into the ice choked waters below. IN YAKUTAT BAY: 7AM-11AM

Land Tour Begins: AK101 - September 6
DAY 8- SEWARD & ANCHORAGE
Bid farewell to the lovely Millennium and join the Alaska Railroad for a stunning ride up Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula. After lunch at the famed Simon & Seaforts tour the Anchorage Museum and learn more about Alaska’s native cultures. L D

DAY 9- DENALI NATIONAL PARK
After a brief orientation with your John Hall’s Alaska Tour Manager, it’s off on a city tour of Anchorage. Later this morning your adventure will lead you up the George Parks Highway, past view points of Mt. McKinley for an afternoon arrival into Denali National Park and the beautiful “Grizzly Bear Resort”. Get settled and relax before a unique evening at the “Alaska Cabin Nite” dinner and show. B L D

DAY 10- DENALI NATIONAL PARK & FAIRBANKS
Wildlife awaits you this morning as you board a private sightseeing bus bound for Kantishna, 95 miles deep in Denali National Park. Keep your cameras ready as moose, caribou, Dall sheep, wolf and bear call this park home. Participate in some gold panning or hiking before completing your wildlife tour and returning to the park entrance. B L D

DAY 11- FAIRBANKS
You’re in for a full day of adventure in Fairbanks today! It begins with a 3- hour cruise down the Chena and Tanana Rivers aboard the legendary Riverboat Discovery. This afternoon participate in a Trail Breaker Kennels show and luncheon at the home of the late dog mushing champion, Susan Butcher. Feast at the great Alaska Salmon tonight! B L D

DAY 12- TOK
Your journey on the Alaska Highway begins this morning! A short ride from Fairbanks is Big Delta State Historical Park and Rika’s Roadhouse, a historic roadhouse. Next its on to Delta Junction with an afternoon arrival into Tok, your home tonight. B L D

DAY 13- KLUANE NATIONAL PARK & WHITEHORSE
Set course for Whitehorse, the capital city of the Yukon today. Pass the towering St. Elias Mountains and marvelous Kluane National Park, where you will tour the Kluane Museum of Natural History. This stretch of the highway is well known for its wildlife so keep your eyes open and camera ready. B L D

DAY 14- MUNCHO LAKE
Today’s scenic schedule will complete itself in Muncho Lake, one of North America’s most prosperous wildlife viewing areas. Before your arrival, you will visit Teslin and Watson Lake, home of the “Sign Forest.” Bring a license plate from your state to add to the collection of over 65,000 presently there. B L D

DAY 15- FORT NELSON
Travel a little more than a 150 miles down the Alaska Highway to Fort Nelson today. Along the way you will pass through Stone Mountain Provincial Park, home of the beautiful Stone Sheep. Visit the Fort Nelson Heritage Museum’s displays of old buildings, wildlife mounts and a collection of antique cars and trucks. B L D

DAY 16-GRANDE PRAIRIE
As you transition from the mountainous region of British Columbia to the western prairies of Alberta, you’ll make a stop in Dawson Creek, home to “Mile Post 0” and the completion of our journey on the Alaska Highway. Tonight your accommodations are in the oil rich lands of Grande Prairie. B L D

DAY 17- JASPER & JASPER NATIONAL PARK
Journey south on the Big Horn Highway this morning, making your way to the Canadian Rockies and the beautiful mountain town of Jasper, Alberta. Enjoy time in Canada’s largest National Park, Jasper National Park. Be on the lookout for mountain sheep and elk today! Spend your afternoon exploring the town. B L D

DAY 18- ATHABASCA GLACIER & BANFF
The spectacular Icefield’s parkway awaits Witness stunning Athabasca Falls, Peyto Lake and Bow Lake before boarding a snow coach bound for Athabasca Glacier and eventually arriving in the charming city of Banff. Before retiring for the night, take a gondola ride to the top of Sulpher Mountain and have dinner with a view of 6 mountain ranges. B L D

DAY 19- BANFF & BANFF NATIONAL PARK
Today you have the option of spending time at the Banff Springs Hotel Spa and Turkish Pools, enjoying a round of golf at the Banff Springs Golf Course, or choose a half day tour of Banff including a helicopter aerial tour of Banff National Park’s surrounding mountains and glaciers. B L D

DAY 20- REVELSTOKE
This morning you will visit beautiful Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, before heading west over the 5,390 feet Kicking Horse Pass and the 4,347 feet summit of Roger’s Pass to your evening destination of Revelstoke, in the Selkirk Mountains. B L D

DAY 21- LEAVENWORTH
Heading south today, explore eastern British Columbia’s fruit orchards, vineyards and Okanagan Lake, home of the legendary sea monster, Ogopogo. Later you cross the border into Washington state and journey to the quaint Bavarian village of Leavenworth where you will spend the night. B L D

DAY 22- SEATTLE
Today drive west over the Cascade Mountains towards Seattle where you will cross Lake Washington on a floating bridge! Your afternoon is free to explore the Pike Street Market and Seattle waterfront before arriving at your hotel. B L D

Fly Home: AK101- September 21
DAY 23- FAREWELLS
Bid farewell to your traveling companions as your Alaska journey comes to an end. Today you will catch a shuttle to Seattle International Airport for your flight home. B
