River & Sea Fishing

RIVER FISHING:
The lazy rivers and winding streams of Alaska offer world class fishing during the summer and fall months. Try your luck at catching a 70-pound King Salmon or a 30-inch Rainbow Trout in the blue waters and tributaries if the Upper, Middle and Lower Kenai River, rated one of the best fisheries in North America! Enjoy the expertise of guide Tom Murray, featured on ESPN Outdoors, as you float down the Kenai in a fully equipped and customized drift boat. Half and full day trips are available. Guests wishing to fish multiple sections of the river may request to participate in a multi-day package with meals and accommodations included. For those who have previously challenged the Kenai and won, sport fishing the salmon runs along the Russian and Kasilof rivers is also a popular option.
For those who don't care to fish during their visit to the Kenai, guided hiking tours, bear viewing and whitewater float trips are available upon request.
HALIBUT FISHING:
Just a half a day drive from Anchorage you'll find the glacier lined port of Homer, Alaska. Every morning fisherman gather on the harbor boardwalk to load up their boats and you will join them as you set out to catch a 350 pound halibut and win the Halibut Derby! Half and full day trips are available. We would be happy to set you up in one Homer's famous B&B's during your stay.
For those who don't care to fish during their visit to the Homer, hiking, bear viewing and sea kayaking are available upon request. Don't forget to make a trip to the Bear Creek Winery for some tasty Alaskan table wine made from Alaskan berries!
