  • DAY 1: ANCHORAGE, AK

    Arrive in the metropolitan city of Anchorage, Alaska today! We will greet you upon arrival and escort you to your luxury accommodations for this evening. Anchorage has much to offer if you wish to explore. Downtown offers many quaint shops and unique culinary delights. You might also consider a float plane sightseeing adventure over the Chugach mountains.

  • DAY 2: VALDEZ, AK

    Meet your fellow travelers this morning at your first of many big Alaskan breakfasts. Then, board the Alaska Railroad for a scenic ride along Turnagain Arm, through the famous Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel to the port city of Whittier, Alaska.  The Stan Stephens family and their fleet of vessels will take you on an escorted adventure into stunning Columbia Bay, where crystal blue icebergs tower over you. Keep your cameras ready for photos of whales, sea otters, harbor seals, eagles, and other birds. Tonight your home will be Valdez, the “Little Switzerland” of Alaska.

  • DAY 3: FAIRBANKS, AK

    Breakfast will help get your day started, and then its off to explore Keystone Canyon!  It is here that you will find the rushing waters of Bridal Veil and Horsetail Falls cradled between sheer black cliffs. After a picture stop you will dramatically ascend to the top of Thompson Pass and travel into Fairbanks, Alaska. Fairbanks will be your home for the next two evenings. Sleep well tonight for your next few days will be packed with cultural and historical activities.

    Today's Highlights: Keystone Canyon, Horsetail Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Copper River Valley, Wrangell St- Elias National Park, Alaska Pipeline, Richardson Highway.

  • DAY 4: FAIRBANKS, AK

    Your busy schedule will begin with a journey down Discovery Lane where you will board the Riverboat Discovery for a three hour narrated tour along the Chena waterways.  Your tour will make a scheduled stop in an authentic Athabascan village where you will learn about the Natives’ ability to live off the land and cope with the extremes of Mother Nature. This afternoon you’ll visit Trail Breaker Kennels where you will enjoy an educational show and scrumptious luncheon. The Kennel was the home training ground of the four time Iditarod Champion, Susan Butcher. Tonight you’ll enjoy the renowned fare of the Alaska Salmon Bake and the Palace Theatre Saloon show!

  • DAY 5: DENALI NATIONAL PARK & KANTISHNA

    Get ready for adventure! Board your motorcoach for a trip to the entrance of Denali National Park. Upon arrival board a sightseeing bus which will take you 92.5 miles deep into Denali to Kantishna, your home for the next two days. During the 5 hour ride, keep your eyes open and cameras ready to capture moose, caribou, Dall sheep, wolves, brown bears and of course Mt. Denali.  Before you reach the destination of Kantishna, you will pass by the reflective waters of Wonder Lake.

  • DAY 6: DENALI NATIONAL PARK ADVENTURE DAY

    Wake up to true nature this morning. This wilderness setting is what so many dream of when they visit Denali and Alaska each year.  You are one of the lucky few who actually get to go face to face with Mother Nature. Enjoy a day of relaxation or spend your day hiking, mountain biking, or gold panning. Optional flightseeing tours of Mt. Denali are available.

    Today's Highlights: Denali National Park. Included Activities to Choose From Include - Fishing in Wonder Lake, Gold Panning, Botany Walks, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Berry Picking (seasonal). Optional flightseeing tours of Mt. Denali are available.

  • DAY 7: TALKEETNA, AK

    After a hearty breakfast you will board your bus for a 5 hour wildlife tour back to the park entrance with another chance to see the “Big Five”. This afternoon you board the first class style seating of the Alaska Railroad for a 4-hour journey to Talkeetna with lunch enjoyed en route. This evening’s lodging will give you a chance to visit the quaint town of Talkeetna.

  • DAY 8: AT SEA

    After a hearty breakfast this morning, it’s on to the bustling city of Anchorage where you’ll tour the beautiful Anchorage Museum. After lunch, continue south on the Seward Highway to your luxury cruise ship where you will embark and get ready to sail through southeast Alaska for the next seven days. At this time you will meet your John Hall’s Alaska Cruise Manager.

    Breakfast & Lunch Included On Land. Dinner On Board Cruise Ship.

  • DAY 9: HUBBARD GLACIER, AK

    Hubbard Glacier Viewing: 2pm - 6pm
    Today’s voyage takes you into Yakutat Bay and alongside the Tongass National Forest where you will soon reach Disenchantment Bay and the impressive ice wall of Hubbard Glacier.  Hubbard is the second most active tidewater glacier in Alaska and has a face that extends over 6.5 miles in length. Stand in awe as at any moment a thunderous crash of glacial ice may come cascading down into the ice choked waters below.

  • DAY 10: JUNEAU, AK

    In Port: 9am - 9pm
    Maneuver into the Gastineau Channel and dock in Alaska’s capital city, Juneau. Take advantage of your included Juneau walking tour highlighting the history of the Juneau Douglas Mines, local and state museums, and a visit to the state capital. You may wish to tour the Mendenhall Glacier, take a helicopter tour, or travel to the top of Mt. Roberts on the aerial tram.

  • DAY 11: SKAGWAY, AK

    In Port: 7:30am - 8pm
    Welcome to the “Gateway City to the Klondike Gold Rush”!  This historic community still has the feel of an 1898 boom town. The voices coming from the saloons and the sound of boots on the boardwalk still echo in the air, while the legend of outlaw “Soapy Smith” lives on in every story. You have the option to take the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad on an incredible climb, 2500 feet to the top of the renowned “Dead Horse Trail”.

  • DAY 12: ICY STRAIT POINT, AK

    In Port: 6:30am - 3pm
    Down the road from Alaska’s largest Tlingit village exists a unique Alaskan place- Icy Strait Point.  Just 22 miles southeast of Glacier Bay National Park, it’s the only wilderness port in Alaska. This has been the home land of the Huna Tlingit Natives for thousands of years. Its beauty, grandeur, history and people offer you a glimpse into the real Alaska.

  • DAY 13: KETCHIKAN, AK

    In Port: 9am - 6pm
    Known as the “Salmon Capital of the World” and the first city for those traveling from the south, this vibrant seaside community offers a number of adventures for its visitors. Today’s included walking tour features stops at the Totems of Whale Park, historic Creek Street, and the Salmon Ladder. Flightseeing to beautiful Misty Fjords is a popular event for many. Others may elect to keep their feet on the ground and visit the totem displays of Saxman Village & Totem Bight Park.

  • DAY 15: VANCOUVER, BC - FLY HOME

    Dock at 7am - Fly Home Today
    As dawn breaks on the harbor, your vessel will sail under the Lions Gate Bridge and dock at Canada Place Pier. This marks a time for good-byes and well wishes to all of those new friendships that have developed during your dream Alaska vacation. After the disembarkation process is complete, you’ll pass through Canadian customs before being transferred to the Vancouver or Seattle (optional) airport to board your flight bound for home.
