  • DAY 1: ANCHORAGE, AK

    Arrive in the metropolitan city of Anchorage, Alaska today! We will greet you upon arrival and escort you to your luxury accommodations for this evening. Anchorage has much to offer if you wish to explore. Downtown offers many quaint shops and unique culinary delights. You might also consider a float plane sightseeing adventure over the Chugach mountains.

  • DAY 2: ANCHORAGE, AK

    Early this morning you’re off on a flightseeing tour that will take you to Katmai National Park. Katmai is famous for Brooks Falls, your bear viewing destination. You will stand on platforms as bears feed on salmon harvested from Brooks Falls below you. Return by plane to Anchorage for the evening.

  • DAY 3: MCCARTHY, AK

    Travel the Glenn Highway and visit Matanuska Glacier before boarding small planes for a flightseeing trip over the Wrangell Mountains. Land in the old mining cities of Kennicott & McCarthy. Upon arrival, enjoy a walking tour of this historic mining district and a visit to the McCarthy Museum. You will spend the next two evenings at the world famous Ma Johnson’s Hotel, where the cuisine rivals five stars.

    Today's Highlights: Matanuska Glacier, Wrangell St-Elias National Park, Aerial Tour of Wrangell Mountains & Glaciers, Historic McCarthy & Kennicott, McCarthy Museum.

  • DAY 4: MCCARTHY, AK

    You are off on an exploration of the amazing Kennecott copper mines today! This National Historical Landmark extracted over $200 million worth of high grade copper and another $4 million in silver. Tour the outbuildings of the mine today including the historic leaching and power plant. Good physical condition is recommended. (Entrance to all areas of the mine is dependent upon the National Park Service.) This afternoon you may catch up on a little R&R or consider taking an optional guided hike to Kennicott Glacier.

  • DAY 5: FAIRBANKS, AK

    Board a plane for a 40 minute scenic flight over the Wrangell mountains. Soon after you will head north on the Richardson, Alaska’s first highway, bound for Fairbanks. Your route this afternoon will follow the great Trans-Alaska Pipeline. In Delta Junction you meet the Alaska Highway and continue your journey into the golden city of Fairbanks. Feast at the great Alaska Salmon Bake tonight!

    Today's Highlights: Aerial Tour of Wrangell Mountains and Glaciers, Richardson Highway, Trans-Alaska Pipeline, Alaska Salmon Bake.

  • DAY 6: FAIRBANKS, AK

    Cross the Arctic Circle as you fly to the native village of Anaktuvuk Pass, located in Gates of the Arctic National Park. After a cultural tour, fly to the northernmost Inupiat Eskimo village of Barrow. Explore Barrow and dip your toe in the Arctic Ocean. Return to Fairbanks for your private Trail Breaker Kennels dinner show.

  • DAY 7: DENALI NATIONAL PARK, AK

    Start your day with a scenic journey to Denali National Park. Upon arrival in Denali you’ll have lunch and then board a private bus bound for Kantishna, your home for the next two nights.  During the 92.5 mile journey into the heart of Denali, view Alaska’s “Big Five”; moose, caribou, Dall sheep, wolves and bears.  Before arriving in Kantishna, you will pass the spectacular waters of Wonder Lake.

  • DAY 8: DENALI NATIONAL PARK, AK

    Wake up to true nature this morning. This wilderness setting is what so many dream of when they visit Denali and Alaska each year.  You are one of the lucky few who actually get to go face to face with Mother Nature. Enjoy a day of relaxation or spend your day hiking, mountain biking, or gold panning. Optional flightseeing tours of Mt. Denali are available.

  • DAY 9: TALKEETNA, AK

    After a hearty breakfast you will board your bus for a 5 hour wildlife tour back to the park entrance with another chance to see the “Big Five”. This afternoon you journey to Talkeetna passing views of Mt. Denali's south face aboard the first class cars of the Alaska Railroad. This evening’s lodging will give you a chance to visit the quaint town of Talkeetna.

  • DAY 10: SEWARD, AK

    Start your day with a visit to the Anchorage Museum followed by a fabulous lunch. This afternoon, journey down the beautiful Seward Highway, exploring the Kenai Peninsula and visiting hidden gems along the way.

  • DAY 11: SEWARD, AK

    Grab your camera and get ready to spot humpback whales, sea otters, sea lions, eagles and puffins during your 8 hour wildlife cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park. As part of this excursion, view glacier calving in front of either Aialik or Holgate Glacier. Return to Seward for the evening.

  • DAY 12: AT SEA

    After a hearty Alaskan breakfast, spend time at the celebrated Alaska Sea Life Center before boarding Royal Caribbean’s Radiance on the Seas for a cruise through Alaska’s Inside Passage. Your John Hall’s Cruise Manager will meet you in Seward, acting as your personal cruise concierge for the next 7 days.

  • DAY 13: HUBBARD GLACIER, AK

    Hubbard Glacier Viewing: 2pm - 6pm
    Today’s voyage takes you into Yakutat Bay and alongside the Tongass National Forest where you will soon reach Disenchantment Bay and the impressive ice wall of Hubbard Glacier.  Hubbard is the second most active tidewater glacier in Alaska and has a face that extends over 6.5 miles in length. Stand in awe as at any moment a thunderous crash of glacial ice may come cascading down into the ice choked waters below.

  • DAY 14: JUNEAU, AK

    In Port: 9am - 9pm
    Maneuver into the Gastineau Channel and dock in Alaska’s capital city, Juneau. Take advantage of your included Juneau walking tour highlighting the history of the Juneau Douglas Mines, local and state museums, and a visit to the state capital. You may wish to tour the Mendenhall Glacier, take a helicopter tour, or travel to the top of Mt. Roberts on the aerial tram.

  • DAY 15: SKAGWAY, AK

    In Port: 7:30am - 8pm
    Welcome to the “Gateway City to the Klondike Gold Rush”!  This historic community still has the feel of an 1898 boom town. The voices coming from the saloons and the sound of boots on the boardwalk still echo in the air, while the legend of outlaw “Soapy Smith” lives on in every story. You have the option to take the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad on an incredible climb, 2500 feet to the top of the renowned “Dead Horse Trail”.

  • DAY 16: ICY STRAIT POINT, AK

    In Port: 6:30am - 3pm
    Down the road from Alaska’s largest Tlingit village exists a unique Alaskan place- Icy Strait Point.  Just 22 miles southeast of Glacier Bay National Park, it’s the only wilderness port in Alaska. This has been the home land of the Huna Tlingit Natives for thousands of years. Its beauty, grandeur, history and people offer you a glimpse into the real Alaska.

    In Port: 9am - 6pm
    Known as the “Salmon Capital of the World” and the first city for those traveling from the south, this vibrant seaside community offers a number of adventures for its visitors. Today’s included walking tour features stops at the Totems of Whale Park, historic Creek Street, and the Salmon Ladder. Flightseeing to beautiful Misty Fjords is a popular event for many. Others may elect to keep their feet on the ground and visit the totem displays of Saxman Village & Totem Bight Park.

  • DAY 19: VANCOUVER, BC - FLY HOME

    Dock at 7am - Fly Home Today
    As dawn breaks on the harbor, your vessel will sail under the Lions Gate Bridge and dock at Canada Place Pier. This marks a time for good-byes and well wishes to all of those new friendships that have developed during your dream Alaska vacation. After the disembarkation process is complete, you’ll pass through Canadian customs before being transferred to the Vancouver or Seattle (optional) airport to board your flight bound for home.
