Itinerary

Day 1FAIRBANKS

Welcome to Fairbanks and Alaska’s Golden Heart City, located in the center of Alaska. After a warm welcome from the team at John Hall’s Alaska, transfer to the hotel accommodations for the next two evenings.

Dinner 

Day 2FAIRBANKS

Begin the day with a Welcome Breakfast with fellow traveling companions, followed by the historic Riverboat Discovery cruising on the Chena River. Visit Trail Breaker Kennel – home to the late four-time Iditarod Champion Susan Butcher – for an exclusive look at the Iditarod mushing lifestyle and what it takes to be successful. You will have plenty of time to see the puppies! Stop at Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum before an evening at the Alaska Salmon Bake and Palace Theatre.

Day 3DENALI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at a Fairbanks favorite, board the luxury motorcoach to travel to Denali National Park. Spend time at the Denali Visitor Center before traveling 42 miles into one of Alaska’s highlights, Denali National Park. Dinner this evening is at your leisure.

Day 4ANCHORAGE

Spend the morning with a “Pick Your Adventure” activity to enhance the time in Denali National Park, choosing between rafting, ATV, Zipline or a helicopter experience. Following lunch, travel to Anchorage via motorcoach for an evening at the historic downtown Hotel Captain Cook.

Day 5KENAI PENINSULA & SEWARD

Early this morning, depart for the Anchorage train depot for what is said to be the most beautiful train ride in Alaska. Witness Cook Inlet and Turnagain Arm from the Alaska Railroad GoldStar glass-domed cars on the 4.5 hour journey to Seward. Join your vessel for a 6-hour cruise through Kenai Fjords National Park, keeping an eye open for a variety of wildlife. After a busy day, retire to the Seward Windsong Lodge with dinner at your leisure.

Day 6ANCHORAGE

Relax this morning enjoying the serenity of the property before starting the journey back to Anchorage. En route, stop at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Travel over 2300 feet vertically on the Alyeska Aeriel Tram and enjoy lunch overlooking Turnagain Arm before returning to Anchorage for one more evening.

Day 7FLY HOME

Following breakfast, transfer to the Anchorage International Airport to catch a departure flight from Anchorage, Alaska.

A deposit of $500.00 USD per person is required within ten days of booking your reservation. Deposits are fully refundable up until 90 days prior to departure.

Arranging Your Flights

This tour begins in Fairbanks, Alaska, and ends in Anchorage, Alaska. Flights are recommended to arrive before 9pm on Day 1; early check-in cannot be guaranteed before 4pm. On Day 7, flights may depart Anchorage after 8am. Transportation will be provided to and from the airport. We highly recommend guests consider arriving into Alaska a day early.
