    Arrive in Fairbanks today and be transferred to the Bear Lodge, your home this evening. The remainder of your day is free to explore the area on your own. Dinner will be at your leisure this evening.

  • DAY 2: FAIRBANKS, AK

    Fly to Kaktovik this morning. Spend your day viewing polar bears as they feed in the whale “bone yard” of Kaktovik village.  Your afternoon will be split between viewing bears on land and going out in small boats to view the bears on off shore islands. Return to Fairbanks for the evening.

  • DAY 3: FAIRBANKS, AK

    This morning journey to the beautiful and therapeutic Chena Hot Springs where you will spend the day. Take a dip in the healing waters or visit the Ice Museum for one of their famous apple martini’s in a carved ice glass before

    returning to Fairbanks. Your dinner includes an educational presentation at Trail Breaker Kennels where you’ll meet the sled dogs.

  • DAY 4: DENALI NATIONAL PARK, AK

    Board the historic Alaska Railroad for a scenic journey to Denali National Park, In Denali, join a private sightseeing bus for a 5-hour wildlife tour to Kantishna. View moose, caribou, Dall sheep, wolf, and the second bear on this itinerary, the grizzly bear!  Spend the next two nights at the Denali Backcountry Lodge in Kantishna.

  • DAY 5: DENALI NATIONAL PARK, AK

    Today you can relax in a peaceful setting offering visitors the chance to go one on one with nature and perhaps capture that postcard photo of Mt. Denali. Hiking, mountain biking, floral tundra tours, cooking classes, gold panning and fishing in Wonder Lake are included with your stay. Optional flightseeing tours of Mt. Denali are available.

  • DAY 6: TALKEETNA, AK

    Head south to the village of Talkeetna, passing the south face vantage point of Mt. Denali.. Your evening is free to explore the people and places of Talkeetna.

  • DAY 7: KODIAK, AK

    Enjoy breakfast with Talkeetna locals at the historic Talkeetna Roadhouse. Then take a short flight to Kodiak where you will enjoy a tour of the area on your way to dinner at Olds River Inn.

  • DAY 8: KODIAK, AK

    Today seek out the coastal brown bear on a small plane flightseeing expedition into remote parts of Kodiak Island

    offering views of the Katmai Volcanoes and surrounding glaciers. Escorted by experienced guides, you will enjoy up close bear viewing! This afternoon journey to Fort Abercrombie State Historical Park to view WWII bunkers.

  • DAY 9: ANCHORAGE, AK

    Experience the Russian influences here in Kodiak, including a visit to Kodiak’s Russian Orthodox Church, before returning via plane to Anchorage for dinner overlooking Lake Hood, the World's Busiest Float Plane base.

  • DAY 10: AT SEA

    After breakfast, continue south on the scenic Seward

    Highway, sightseeing as you go, and arrive at the doorstep to your luxury cruise ship where you will sail through southeast Alaska for the next seven days. At this time you will meet your John Hall’s Alaska Cruise Manager. Sail at 8pm.

  • DAY 11: HUBBARD GLACIER, AK

    Hubbard Glacier Viewing: 3pm - 5pm
    Today’s voyage takes you into Yakutat Bay and alongside the Tongass National Forest where you will soon reach Disenchantment Bay and the impressive ice wall of Hubbard Glacier.  Hubbard is the second most active tidewater glacier in Alaska and has a face that extends over 6.5 miles in length. Stand in awe as at any moment a thunderous crash of glacial ice may come cascading down into the ice choked waters below.

  • DAY 12: JUNEAU, AK

    In Port: 9am - 9pm
    Maneuver into the Gastineau Channel and dock in Alaska’s capital city, Juneau. Take advantage of your included Juneau walking tour highlighting the history of the Juneau Douglas Mines, local and state museums, and a visit to the state capital. You may wish to tour the Mendenhall Glacier, take a helicopter tour, or travel to the top of Mt. Roberts on the aerial tram.

  • DAY 13: SKAGWAY, AK

    In Port: 7:30am - 8pm
    Welcome to the “Gateway City to the Klondike Gold Rush”!  This historic community still has the feel of an 1898 boom town. The voices coming from the saloons and the sound of boots on the boardwalk still echo in the air, while the legend of outlaw “Soapy Smith” lives on in every story. You have the option to take the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad on an incredible climb, 2500 feet to the top of the renowned “Dead Horse Trail”.

  • DAY 14: ICY STRAIT POINT, AK

    In Port: 6:30am - 3pm
    Down the road from Alaska’s largest Tlingit village exists a unique Alaskan place- Icy Strait Point.  Just 22 miles southeast of Glacier Bay National Park, it’s the only wilderness port in Alaska. This has been the home land of the Huna Tlingit Natives for thousands of years. Its beauty, grandeur, history and people offer you a glimpse into the real Alaska.

  • DAY 15: KETCHIKAN, AK

    In Port: 9am - 6pm
    Known as the “Salmon Capital of the World” and the first city for those traveling from the south, this vibrant seaside community offers a number of adventures for its visitors. Today’s included walking tour features stops at the Totems of Whale Park, historic Creek Street, and the Salmon Ladder. Flightseeing to beautiful Misty Fjords is a popular event for many. Others may elect to keep their feet on the ground and visit the totem displays of Saxman Village & Totem Bight Park.

  • DAY 16: INSIDE PASSAGE CRUISING

    At Sea All Day
    Tidal waters permitting, your ship will hug the coastlines of Alaska and stunning British Columbia. The scenery offered by the Inside Passage is far different from that found in other cruise destinations around the globe. Keep an eye open for humpbacks, orcas, and dolphins during your day at sea.

  • DAY 17: VANCOUVER, BC (FLY HOME)

    Dock at 7am - Fly Home Today
    As dawn breaks on the harbor, your vessel will sail under the Lions Gate Bridge and dock at Canada Place Pier. This marks a time for good-byes and well wishes to all of those new friendships that have developed during your dream Alaska vacation. After the disembarkation process is complete, you’ll pass through Canadian customs before being transferred to the Vancouver or Seattle (optional) airport to board your flight bound for home.

Nights 10-16 will be on board Celebrity Cruise Line’s Millennium.

Land only guests will overnight in Anchorage on day 9 before flying home on day 10.
